SALTA was on the panel of Dance Discourse Project #19: Re-imagining our Cultural Commons: Making Spaces for Dance on August 11, 2014.
In a special Dance Discourse Project, “Re-imagining our Cultural Commons: Making Spaces for Dance”hosted at [freespace] in San Francisco, CounterPulse and Dancers’ Group invite the public into a discussion of the tactics, modes and imagination that live performance artists and organizations are using to adapt to and access space in a rapidly changing Bay Area. Together, the panelists will investigate innovative oftentimes radical strategies for providing artists space for researching, developing and presenting performance work.
SALTA attended Envisioning the Practice: Montréal International Symposium on Curating the Performing Arts, from April 10th to 13th, 2014. They presented their paper Pseudo-, Anti-, and Total Dance: on Curating an Experimental Dance Series.
SALTA performed at Short & Sweet, a dance series organized by Wants&Needs Danse in Montreal.
